Privacy policy

The GREYC laboratory ensures that the processing of personal data collected on this site complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

The access to the GREYCFlix platform is free and does not require a user account.

Data collected

• Most of the demonstrators listed on the platform do not collect any personal data.
• The G'MICol demonstrator uses the images uploaded by their users in order to apply the selected filters.
• The GREYC-Star demonstrator uses the photo of the user to find the celebrities he or she look like.
• The demonstrators using face detection, fiducial points, facial emotion detection do not store the images of the participants' faces.

Legal basis

The data collection is based on the explicit consent of the participants (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR).

Data retention period

• The images uploaded on the G'MICol demonstrator are deleted 20 minutes after the last user interaction.
• The photos uploaded on the GREYC-Star demonstrator are deleted immediately after they have been processed.

Data protection

• The data is saved on servers hosted at the University of Caen.
• The access is limited to authorized project personnel.
• No transfer to third countries outside the European Union is planned.
